Myth Causes Institutional Failure?
Myth number one: human nature is basically bad
All the problems in our world, from overbearing governments to economic struggling, crime, war and strife, are a result of an inherent distrust of human nature. This is the faulty core belief by which we create our reality, personally and collectively. Remove this false belief, and we solve our problems, personally and collectively.

Many top physicists do know that mind forms matter
It is the rest of science, media and the world who do not want to listen to what they are saying.
Max Tegmark of MIT
Click on the MIT button below to see current official confirmation from a respected physicist in the scientific community that matter is a state of consciousness.
The official scientific establishment as a whole does not want to admit consciousness creates matter. There is a reason why.
Early scientific instruments could not measure consciousness or quantum activity. Scientists could not prove or disprove anything about consciousness, and so they eventually assumed consciousness had nothing to do with bottom-rung reality, without proving it did not. Eventually science as a whole took the official stance that consciousness had nothing to do with bedrock reality.
To go against the materialistic view that was adopted by the world is to threaten the entire worldview and authority of science.

Beliefs & values are operating programs
Behavior is dictated by the inner programs (values or beliefs that we inherit from the culture we are born into). When that behavior is less than ideal, we need to look at our values.
Behavioral errors are a result of incorrect belief systems. Ironically, those negative causal beliefs systems are reinforced by the very institutions that punish. The institutions are carriers of mainstream myths that cause undesirable behavior in the first place.
A deep distrust
Bullies often degrade their victims in order to justify throwing punches or humiliating them. Prosecutors do the same thing when they degrade a person in court, when that person may be outside of the bounds of acceptable behavior because they have a different set of values, or just because they have made a mistake.
By labeling them as criminal we drag them down and make them suffer, which usually compounds the original problem that caused them to do what they did in the first place. Everyone has broken laws, but not everyone calls themselves a criminal.
How did you feel when I asked you to think of yourself as criminal when I began the article? It is a very degrading label.
If we had more confidence in people and love for them, we would treat them far differently. Studies have clearly shown that when we have high expectations for any particular person or group that they perform better.
Punishment, on the other hand, which is based on the opposite or low expectation, causes people to regress and oppose society’s rules and laws. In this way the problem is worsened and deepened.
We do all of this because we have a deep distrust of human nature. The myth driving all of this is materialism and Darwinism. We believe humans are driven by selfish motives and that some are bad and others good, or that some behavior is a result of bad intent, which is usually not the case.
Why this subject is critically important
Society’s values of guilt and punishment give rise to the inner judge and victim. The inner judge and victim then controls the mind and life of virtually every person on earth from the inside out.
The whole approach we use in managing behavior from an institutional standpoint is the same approach we use in the way we manage, punish and treat ourselves. One carries over to the other.
We internalize the values and beliefs of our culture when we are very young. By the time we are an adult these values and beliefs control us.
The sad fact is very few people realize that they are controlled by the inner judge and victim.
Do you punish yourself?
What is your self-talk like? What are your emotional states? These will tell you if you punish yourself verbally or through impeding beliefs. Beliefs generate emotions and then those emotions reinforce the beliefs that caused them.
How to change your experience for the better
Build yourself up rather than tearing yourself down. Maintain positive moods, expectations and thinking no matter what is going on around you, or regardless of how people or institutions are treating you.
When we change the inner world of self-talk the outer changes. This is why this is a subject that is important to everyone. There are multiple reasons why you should support a whole different approach in regard to how we police human nature and ourselves.
All the major institutions are based on distrust and as a result police their clients. Our institutions are not encouraging and trusting, but instead require more permits, licenses and high bars with every passing year.
This hinders rather than assists progress and development.
A new paradigm would change people for the better
Because we are all really one, when we harm another we harm ourselves. Realizing this would change behavior because people would have no incentive to harm or bully others or commit any kind of offense.
We are all of the same mind in that we are all composed of the same high grade of consciousness. That consciousness is altruistic and autonomous (our natural impulses lead us to act in a way that lead to the best possible results for all whom are affected by those decisions).
Impulses are not selfish, they are altruistic.
This is the reason for the words “Earth Network of Altruistic, Autonomous Individuals,” in the initial movement.
We have built our civilization on distrust and ignorance. The myths responsible give rise to faulty thinking and theories on all subjects and in all areas of inquiry. This can all be changed rather easily, and all the resulting problems can be rapidly solved.
All that is required is that people step outside of the box and take a broader look at what is happening.
A new perspective will clarify the underlying problem and allow us to advance to a new era. We are on the cusp of the flowering of civilization. If all goes well, we will become a new species, different from what we were, or are now.

The New Enlightenment
Martin Luther and the 17th century Enlightenment Movement gave us our modern world. The original Enlightenment led to the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence and the unprecedented liberties that we now take for granted in the USA.
The NEW Enlightenment is an extension of the original Enlightenment and is only getting started now. Learn more.
How to solve problems
The chaos that we see in the world is a result of particle thinking and authoritarianism. The issues of global warming, white supremacy, gun violence poverty, crime, etc., are simply outcroppings of the real problem that dwells within.
When you look around you and see people who are unhappy with their lives and a world with wars and conflicts, these are symptoms of the real problem. These are symptoms that draw attention away from what is creating all the problems in our world. The actual generating problem is authoritarianism.
The concept of authoritarianism
Authoritarianism is the concept that people are basically bad, and thus deserve punishment. In such a climate of belief you punish yourself or you join those who punish others. By blaming others for your problems you escape the guilt inherent in authoritarianism.
It also suggests that those who behave well have the right to control and abuse the people who are targeted as being out of line. Authoritarianism has existed for 5,000 or more years and is the basis of our system of ordering civilization.
Authoritarianism is an unnatural concept that pervades our civilization. When we are young, this system of values is internalized and develops into the inner judge and victim. Authoritarianism is based on the materialism and that idea that human nature is basically bad. This idea gives rise to the myth that people deserve punishment and to be controlled.
The inner judge and victim are a form of energy parasite.
The parasite is a system of beliefs that maintains itself. A parasite, by definition, takes but does not give.
This system of beliefs—the parasite—rob’s us of positive emotions and energy and destroys our life from the inside out, and without contributing anything of value to us.
The inner judge and victim is in virtually everyone, limiting what they can be and achieve and their level of happiness.
Authoritarianism gives rise to the concept of hierarchies. Authoritarianism exist within us and is reflected in the physical world.
Mankind uses an upper class and those with authority to control those in the lower classes and those with less authority.
The concept of hierarchies is invalid. There is nothing like this in the natural world, it is entirely man-made.
The idea that some people are bad like a bad apple is a myth. There are people who make mistakes, as explained in the beginning of this article, but there are no bad and good people.
It is more accurate to say everyone is the same being than it is to say there are good and bad people.
However neither view is entirely correct. Everyone is composed of the same original consciousness, yet each person is entirely unique.
Your consciousness will exist throughout eternity and can never be destroyed. You will always exist as you know yourself to be, and whatever you add to that.
On a physical level, however, mankind attempts to assign people level of worth. The less worthy are put in prisons, and in our meritocracy, those who achieve a lot physically are given all the rewards.
Not only are humans equal, but all species are equal. There is nothing in nature that is not composed of consciousness and therefore everything is equal, and everything deserves respect.
There are no hierarchies of consciousness. There are inner senses and outer senses, and each creature has a different variation of each.
Humans may have a superior rational consciousness, but many species of animals can see or smell better and have heightened senses that humans do not have. Creatures are different, one from the other, but they are all equal.
The underlying consciousness of all is the highest imaginable quality.
Hierarchies are products of authoritarianism. Nature has no such order.
We need to become aware of actual history
The actual underlying problem driving all personal and social failures is the underlining mainstream consensus of what reality is. We have separated ourselves from the source of all knowledge for 5,000 years.
When as a race we divorced ourselves from direct comprehension, what we call instinct, our lack of good sense made us vulnerable to myth. And so those in positions of power within early civilizations took advantage of us and told us that we were unworthy.
This enabled them to corral and manipulate us, make us slaves obligated to give our wages to our superiors. For after all, according to what they said God told them, we were sinners and didn’t deserve wealth or even the fruits of our labor.
Once we stepped apart from the animals to develop self-consciousness, we divorced ourselves from direct comprehension. Severing ourselves from intuitive knowing creates a situation in which we are vulnerable to myths and the exploits of others seeking to control us for their gain.
There are many myths
Our myths are at the forefront of our attention and are guiding our thinking. Ideas of time and cause and effect are myths.
There is no time and the past does not create the present. The manner in which reality operates is far removed from our conception of physical cause and effect.
We punish ourselves for what we did in the past when in fact no such past exists. What we perceive to be the past is what I call a probable past. However, there are infinite probabilities in both the past and the future as we think of the past and future.
What really exists is an infinite simultaneous time. The infinite present moment contains infinite past and future probabilities.
These seeming past and future probabilities actually exist in the present moment. As we maneuver through probabilities we assign a futures and past to match.
This subject is covered in deeper metaphysical writings of mine and others.
Our definitions generate our behavior
The inner judge controls us at every turn.
Why people don’t see the elephant or dinosaur in the room proves the power of beliefs to hypnotize us. However, a lot of people are awakening to the true nature of reality.
Quantum mechanics is helping us to do that. But also, personal discontent and collective problems serve as powerful motivation to find answers where we have been thus far unwilling to look.
All the problems you see in the world are not because of you, inequality, global warming or some other issue, but because of the failure of society’s institutions. Institutional failure is a result of a failure of a belief system.
There is not one group of people to blame, but it is the adoption of the scientific worldview of materialism and related values that really leads to institutional failure. Institutional failure, which is the real issue, then leads to global warming, conflict such as war and racism, and all our other social problems.
Is the new belief system that I teach here that represents the hope of humanity. The solution to all of humanity’s problems is to adopt a new more wholesome belief system that works to the advantage of all.
Climate change, conflicts and political problems are strictly symptoms of dysfunctional social and economic practices and policies. The emphasis needs to shift away from the apparent outer issues and sciences to the social sciences if we have any hope of solving humanity’s problems.
We have to look at underlying paradigms and belief systems. This is what is being done here.
Hopefully, I am helping to form a new field of science.
It is of paramount importance that you begin to trust yourself. The problems you see around you are a result of social dysfunction. Social dysfunction is a result of inaccurate core beliefs.
Our mainstream core beliefs are myths. The world is operating by a false premise. This is the focal point of my book, The Solution.
You can trust yourself
A society composed of individuals that trust themselves creates a civilization based on trust of human nature. Currently we do the opposite.
We have built a civilization on distrust of human nature. Your institutions may not trust you, but you must never distrust yourself. Your confidence and integrity are real. It is infinite and deep. Trust it. Trust what you are, and Trust Who You Are!
The civilization we will now build will be based on trust of human nature. The new civilization will begin with you, and each individual thereafter.
As more and more people begin to trust themselves and adopt accurate beliefs, behavior and life will change, and we will begin to build the new and better reality!
You do control your destiny if you trust yourself!

The answer is simple
The inner judge and victim rule our inner life, and the inside is reflected on the outside. Internal degrading and outward hindering of the individual directly leads to violence and basically all other personal impediments and social problems. This is explained in "The Solution..."
We can solve not only the problems of violence in our culture, but also eliminate barriers to success so that we can achieve our personal goals and ambitions.
