Why has science ignored consciousness?
Why did science previously ignore consciousness, thinking it to be relatively insignificant? The body of this material will illustrate why science did not pursue a more robust study of consciousness in previous generations. There was an earlier development in history that pointed us in the opposite direction.
As a result of this development, the particular science and religion responsible for current world problems emerged.
Why did tribal warfare, Rome, Vikings, WW1 and WW2 develop?
Why did tribal horsemen attack the first agricultural communities, Roman violence and Viking raids develop from the previous period of relatively peaceful nature religion? We tend to think cavemen were violent. This is partially a result of our current beliefs about humans. We believe humans were always violent because we are now. The nature religion people, however, were compassionate. Hunter gatherers could perceive the connections between all life forms. We have lost that sense of connectedness because of a development in history that I will explain.

A cult is a paradigm or worldview that is at least partially distorted and negative in a destructive way. A cult is an incorrect system of thought that creates dependence on a leader by weakening and degrading a constituent.
The science and religion responsible for current world problems is a cult philosophy.

A unique human development resulting in our current world situation and problems
There was an inside out unique development in the human species, and because of this development there were various side effects. One such side effect was the psychology that we have now that produces or tends to lead to violent behavior, excessive competition and various forms of cruelty. Another side effect was the kind of science that we have had for the past few hundred years. This is a science that was focused on the physical aspects of reality, while not realizing that the physical world was not primary. Only recently has quantum mechanics revealed that there is an inner energetic level that is the primary level that gives rise to physical atoms, electrons and the many other building blocks of the reality we now experience.
There was a process of becoming what we are now that the human race went through about five thousand years ago. To create the kind of ego consciousness we have now it was necessary to break our connection with inner knowledge in the same way an adolescent may break away from their parents as a means to establish one’s own identity as distinct and different from what it was previously.
This is the paradigm that has obscured the cause of violence in history and the reason why we became a violent species. This is the development that has led to the science and religion cult philosophies responsible for current world problems.
If you want the long answer which is not superficial, I must ask you to think deeply for a few minutes and go way back in history. There was a process like an evolutionary development but not physical.
This major evolutionary development had to do not with the physical body but rather the mind of humans, and it occurred for everyone. This development didn’t happen in one person and then spread from there. Instead, this development began simultaneously in the subconscious of all humans about ten to five thousand years ago.
The development began on a basic level of the collective subconscious. You have probably never heard of a theory like this because of the way we think. Traditional science has told you that all evolutionary developments occurred by means of chance mutations on a physical level. This is not the kind of evolutionary step that I am speaking of. This development requires that you think differently about reality and look at the nature of reality and human evolution through the lens of a different paradigm of science.
Quantum physics has revealed that particles are not really solid, that everything in the universe is composed of fields of energy and particles are only disturbances on those highly active energy fields.
With that in mind, imagine that evolution works from the inside out. If you are familiar with my material [The William Eastwood Material] you have heard me say that physical particles are not fundamental and don’t even really exist. We used to think physical alterations in biology were responsible for evolutionary events. This would be impossible if the findings of quantum mechanics were correct, and particles do not exist but instead are caused by energy on inner levels.
Therefore, we must look at evolution as being caused by developments on the inner level. The fields that form our species and out of which your individuality is securely rooted and indelible, exist on a collective subconscious level. On this level there is communication and that is why it is possible for a mass evolutionary development to occur simultaneously across all continents.
I am explaining the process of conscious evolution that led to our current cult science and religion responsible for current world problems.
Ten to five thousand years ago the mind went through a kind of evolutionary development that was triggered by a shift in the collective subconscious. This shift was triggered by a collective intent to move in a new direction in order to create the kind of consciousness we have now. In other words, this is a deliberate development, not a chance development.
Again, I need you to think differently. When humans build something, they begin with ideas and then they draw up plans. An architect, for example, may design a home on paper. Then contractors are hired, and the home is built. Houses don’t just appear by accident. They are intended, deliberate developments. It is the same for evolutionary developments. The eyes on humans didn’t just appear by accident, for example, we intended them so that we would be able to see. They were an idea in consciousness and then consciousness figured out how they could be made. The intent held in consciousness then utilized DNA and systems of biology to produce the eyes. Again: From an idea first occurring on a deep level of consciousness, a kind of blueprint in consciousness occurred, and from that blueprint came the physical or final stage of human eyes came.
In simple terms, consciousness creates matter. It has always been this way and always will be. Ignorance cannot change the facts.
Why is mankind so violent and cruel?
Consciousness predates all physical form. The universe was created from consciousness. The universe is energy rather than physical particles (as quantum mechanics reveals) and that energy is consciousness.
Consciousness is imbued with unlimited inner intelligence. In the same way a piece of holographic film contains the whole image, all that is known, was ever known and will be known is enfolded within every conscious unit.
However, the conscious evolution that created our perception of what appears to be a single physical world creates ego separation and male-rule civilization with violence and other problems that will ultimately lead to destruction if not corrected.
We see the cruelty in the Roman Empire and successive governments run by autocratic dictators because there was a process necessary to create the kind of consciousness we have now. Tribal competition (Romans, Vikings, and so on) is a spin-off result of that separation. It is a symptom of a greater good in which we transitioned from an animal type consciousness to what we have now (what I call ego consciousness).
As a result of our “male” orientation, over the past 5000 years we have successfully evolved a new type of self-awareness and ego consciousness. However, we have overdone the process and as a result ego, or male consciousness his cut off from his inner intuition and sensitivities. This produces unnatural behavior as males often express cruel and insensitive tendencies.
I am explaining the separation development that led to the current science and religion responsible for current world problems, cult philosophies and theories in various fields. The entire paradigm resulting has been taught in schools. This has shaped human psychology.
There is an effect that is like the placebo effect that results in poor behavior. But there is also a general lack of understanding, lack of compassion and lack of connection with nature and the earth resulting from this development of conscious and emotional separation.
Our climate situation is dire as a result of separation from nature and resulting lack of compassion for other life forms and the earth itself. But that is far from all the problems produced by unnatural male ego dominance. Male nationalistic tribes and patriarchal systems have produced excessive cruelty, violence and other problems.
When the male psyche is deprived of a whole set of what we call feminine emotions, the void left by their absence is filled by a far less pleasing set of emotions.
Many males in our society are unable to feel much or any love, and this happens because of cultural directives rather than anything natural. We end up with raging emotions, much more negative attitudes later in life, hostilities and conflicts.
The male psyche can be tormented if the artificial psychological differences between the sexes are carried to an extreme, as we see happening in politics in America today.
A new way of looking at reality will result in new values and understanding that will change our accepted behaviors and violence will diminish. Internal Science and International Philosophy will help this process to occur faster and more efficiently.
What is the definition of a cult?
A cult is an incorrect system of thought that creates dependence on a leader by weakening and degrading a constituent.
Mainstream physicalism science and the common paradigms of various religions are cults by definition. They are cults because they are inaccurate paradigms of reality and human nature, and they create dependency and weakness by taking power away from the individual by virtue of their conception of the individual as tainted or flawed and weak.
These cults or worldviews maintain the violence in history. They produce flawed expectations and paradigms that resemble a faulty program in an otherwise good computer, causing humans to behave as they do. The Vikings are a good example of that behavior, as is the current criminal behavior in modern times.
The science and religion responsible for current world problems are cults and have given rise to male insensitivity and many cult philosophies that are cruel and degrading. Violence is a result of ignorance. Inaccurate worldviews give rise to violence, not human nature. The cult philosophies of science and religion are responsible for current world problems and violence in particular. All violence is a result of criminal mentality.
My definition of criminal mentality is an attitude that sees an enemy because human nature is considered to be tainted or flawed according to the cult views of science and religion. Out of this worldview it is believed that someone must be the enemy and cause or the particular problem we are upset about, and so we must punish or eradicate this person to make things better. Thus we falsely justify mistreatment because of our negative view of human nature that comes from the science and religious cult philosophies of contemporary times.
The New Enlightenment will lead to a better world
By showing people their power and ability to create their reality we can empower humanity and change the course of civilization.
The tenets of the New Enlightenment
1. The universe is entirely composed of consciousness.
2. Consciousness is altruistic.
The acceptance of these two principles will create a great civilization.
