Origin of the anti-intellectual movement
The cause is physicalism. It’s not accurate and people know it and so they are turning away from it.
When that happens, they grab on to whatever seems to explain personal inner reality. Many people think in black and white. They look at the inner self and reality in general and everywhere they look they see a battle between good and evil, or bad people and good people.
Many reject the intellect in favor of intuition. Because physicalism is a heartless science paradigm, people feel science has failed them and because the intellectual abilities are equated with physicalist science, the intellectual abilities are seen as having failed humanity. Many people just don’t trust the intellect the way they used to.
Religious fanatics sometimes feel that the intellect will lead them astray in the same way that physicalist feel that intuition and emotion will lead them astray.
A big part of the problem is that human nature has been demonized so that people are afraid of whatever is being demonized in culture at the time. You see this in politics. Homosexuals, pedophiles, or a particular race are thought to be evil by some.
The scientific intellect has been worshiped in the past three hundred years, but it is time to understand that there are other forms of intelligence, and sources of information beyond the limited reach of the intellect.
The intellect is thought to be the crowning glory of evolution. The intellect is considered to be a product of evolution and as such, the importance assigned to it by scientists is associated with a belief in evolution.
There is no evolution in the context of Einstein’s relativity, and according to Einstein himself in his later years. Things do not evolve; they change form through recreations that occur in a field of potential that is infinite.
Internal Science can become a unifying principle, pulling initiates from physicalism, cults and religion. This would solve a lot of problems in the world.
Internal Science represents a solution to a splintered world. It can defeat radical, far right thinking, religion and bring back a global scientific consensus.

What is the anti-intellectual movement?
The anti-intellectual movement is not a conventional movement in which people protest the intellect. Rather, the anti-intellectual movement describes a trend away from the belief that the intellect can solve all problems. The anti-intellectual movement is also a shift from physicalism toward cult philosophies that attribute deeper meaning to existence than materialism does.
Graduates everywhere are prey to fake news and cults because so many come out of our schools with intellectual ability at the expense of intuition when both go hand in hand. Lack of intuition and the wrong worldview together represent the problem.
Students automatically exclude information and an information gathering process that doesn’t fit the physicalist worldview. When you lack intuition, you lack independent thinking skill. We are a society taught to conform to authority and to get our information from an expert. We don’t look inward to double check our information on an intuitive level because physicalists don’t think that information comes from within, they believe that knowledge comes from books and that there is no inner reality, nor intuition to see if it feels right.
This causes the individual to feel isolated, and as a result they look to outside sources to tell them what to believe. The physicalist worldview demonizes the subconscious and inner self so that there is a perceived need to go against what is within—against the self. We then need some genius or book to tell us what the hell is going on.
This is where authoritarianism comes from. We want to be told what is true by an expert and so we look for credentials rather than judging information intellectually and intuitively on our own.
A cult tends to give power to the leader or authority in that system of thought while also lacking scientific validation. Students don’t tend to go this way, but people without grounding in any intellectual system of thought often do.
A paradigm or way of thinking is anti-intellectual only if it has no rational basis in fact. Philosophies that do have a basis in fact and rational thought are not anti-intellectual.

What is the origin of the intellectual movement?
For about two centuries beginning around 1750, the majority of people in America and the world believed that science could solve all problems. Because science is a product of the objective intellect, it was the intellect itself that was credited. The majority of people in the world believed that the scientific objective intellect could solve all problems.
The scientific intellect is the apex of the belief that science can solve all problems. Because the intellect is so closely associated with science, people are losing faith in the intellect and its ability to solve problems and find answers.
I consider the anti-intellectual movement to be a trend away from that belief that the intellect can be relied upon to solve all problems.
People are losing faith in the intellect because they are losing faith in science.
Around 1900 science told the world that it would liberate humanity from suffering. The scientific intellect was in effect, worshiped as the new human God replacing the God of religion.
Why are people losing faith in science?
Science promised the world that it would answer the bigger questions such as, what is the meaning of life? However, many feel that science or materialism did not deliver on that promise. A similar promise, although weaker, is being made to the younger generation. Scientists say that they will merge humans with artificial intelligence and technology to create a new kind of superior hybrid human. This promise is a distraction from the fact that science has not answered the bigger questions.
Increasing numbers of people that mostly grew up in the 20th century are losing faith in science because they believe that science did not answer the bigger questions. They see a world improved in some ways as a result of science, but people are not more content as a result of science and there are many problems that persist or have grown worse in the world that add to human pain and frustration.
Many see materialism as being anti-intellectual. Others see religion as anti-intellectual. So what is anti-intellectual (what is not based on sound fact), and what is not (not based on sound fact)? The scientists and majority of people who believe in materialism are not anti-intellectual. Being anti-intellectual is a willful act to rely on the rational aspect of human consciousness. It is preference for non-logical worldviews that are not grounded in science and fact.
Until we understand holographic reality we cannot understand that reality will reflect what we believe. This results in a situation in which we think we have scientific factual evidence supporting our worldview when in actuality we have a manifestation of what we believe, or a manifestation that is true only in a limited way. If we believe in linear time, for example, our mind will organize events into a sequence from past to present to future. We will compile evidence to show that certain past events create current conditions.
The only thing that exists in your reality is what you can perceive. If you attribute what you see to past events then the studies and evidence they produce will seem to prove that true because that is the reality you create. Your firm belief in time progression causes you to create evidence to support that false premise. If this sounds unlikely to you then you are fooled by your own projection. Einstein did not believe in time and Einstein was the most intellectual of all people.

Origin of the problem clarified
Science itself is not causing the problem, classic physics and materialism are. Science has settled on the idea that the universe is mechanical and lacks deeper meaning, and this is driving the anti-intellectual movement.
To be more specific, the problem of anti-intellectualism is largely a result of scientists equating science with materialism. Materialism is a worldview. Science is a process that is meant to discover truth, and people know in their hearts that materialism is not the truth.
The idea that a machine of infinite complexity created itself is unthinkable absurdity!.
Nature & Characteristics of Consciousness
Science originally included metaphysics, or the study of the meaning of life. By the end of the 18th century, however, it had begun to be called “science” to distinguish it from other branches of philosophy. Science, philosophy and metaphysics are increasingly divided. This is a result of a fixation on the physical world and what can be proven physically using the scientific method. More and more significance is being given to the view that materialism is science.
This increasingly narrow view has resulted in a disconnect. The physical sciences, being based more on materialism are closed off from the science of physics that by necessity dismantles the physical sciences because it finds error in the main premise on which the physical sciences are based—the idea that the universe is physical in the narrowest of terms (rather than a product of perception as Einstein’s friend, David Bohm discovered.
The problem of anti-intellectualism is most apparent in religion, but as I pointed out, the intellectual facility can be fooled. Only by understanding how we manifest what we believe can we break out of the illusion that what we believe is a fact. Until we understand holographic reality we are trapped by our own illusions. This applies whether we are anti-intellectual or not. However, an anti-intellectual person is less likely to read about holographic reality in order to give it the opportunity to prove to be rationally correct.
Holographic reality explains the division in politics and society
The evidence of materialism is a projection of the establishment's belief in materialism. To be intellectual rather than anti-intellectual requires that we use our intellect to look at the beliefs and theories of the most intellectual people in the world. Those individuals are not materialists, they are quantum physicists, and include Einstein, Bohm and others.
Materialists that do not use their intellect sufficiently, do not understand that what they believe is a holographic projection. Until they realize this, they are fooled by the holographic illusion. The same applies to any belief system.

Early origins of the intellectual movement
When Martin Luther protest Church corruption, he paved the way for the Enlightenment. The Enlightenment in Europe was a movement away from the views of the Church of England. Its previously forced philosophy said that only through God and God’s blessings could human experience be improved. That changed, and when it did it was an intellectual movement. The trend was in the direction of the intellect as being the new savior of humanity. The intellect replaced the traditional God and denied the spiritual God.
The Enlightenment was embodied by the idea that man could improve the quality of life through his own efforts. Anti-intellectualism grew in America when the first European settlers evolved a work ethic as attached to the “American Dream” and often in an evangelical context.
Benjamin Franklin and George Washington espoused masculine ideals of the “self-made” man as opposed to enlightened intellectuals who were thought to be effeminate and ineffective.

You have full freedom to create whatever you want within the boundaries given. The intellect creates beliefs, thoughts and feelings and the inner self uses these as a yardstick to create events. There is a time lag between subjective activity and its materialization. Emotions, however, manifest quickly. The time-lag protects you from having fearful and negative thoughts of your own manifest instantly. The momentum of other thoughts and emotions modify your fears so that they do not blow up in your face.

The inner self is using the physical system to teach itself the responsibility of directing energy. It has created the intellect through which it channels its energy to allow it to exist in the physical system. The universe itself is of good intent, and positive thoughts are therefore easier to manifest.
The intellect is part of the inner self which is multidimensional and exists in simultaneous time, or what I call the spacious present. The physical world is the dream your inner self is having.
Your whole being has three levels while in material existence. You have a 1) inner consciousness or inner ego, 2) an intellect or outer ego, and 3) a body consciousness or cellular consciousness. Without the body's consciousness you would have to tell every cell what to do, and that wouldn't work of course, which is why it was created. The body consciousness and the intellect/ego are offshoots of the inner self that allows us to exist within the physical system.
The intellect is incredibly powerful and intelligent, and its beliefs, thoughts and emotions determine what the inner self creates in the physical world on inner levels of consciousness. The inner self creates the intellect out of its own energy, and so it creates a creator in this system of reality. You are an extension of your inner self, but there really are no boundaries within the self and so you are the whole self also. Divisions are illusions that create a sense of separation from the rest of reality.

Events are thoughts and emotions projected out from you into what appears to be a physical environment detached from you. Scientists know that the senses perceive reality. What most scientists have not yet figured out is that before your senses perceive your reality, they create it in the same basic way a virtual reality headset creates a virtual reality.
Your physical environment is actually an extension of the self, like a finger or arm is. You create it, although the work done to create events happens below the subconscious and so you are not consciously aware of how this work is performed. Your own environment is you; your collective reality is a joint creation (what is on the news is a collective creation).

Materialism denies deeper meaning that cults provide
Science represents the intellectual faculty and because science has failed to uphold what is felt to be true in the hearts of millions, there are many cults forming that reject reason and intellect itself. There is a world-wide anti-intellectual movement because science has failed us, and the old religions are turning back to religious fervor.
Large segments of the population are rejecting reason itself and are basing their views on their prejudices and emotionally-held beliefs that are nothing more than ancient myths and tribal biases.
Had science accepted the implications of Einstein’s, Bohm’s and other physicist’s discoveries, materialism would have weakened. The definition of science would have broadened, and cults would not have formed. Terrorism, evangelism and radical far right thinking would not have expanded.

Be the person you want to be
Reality is psychological. Einstein’s friend and colleague, David Bohm calls all of reality one unbroken energy movement. He calls the inner reality of energy that forms the multiverse the “Implicate Order.” The Implicated Order manifests as the “Explicate Order.”
In other words, your life and environment are a hologram of psychological energy, and the energy is a projection of whatever is going on in your mind. The composite of your beliefs, thoughts, feelings, expectations, level of confidence, what you visualize, moods and assumptions determine what is projected. You must take control of your inner subjective world and direct it into the events you want to experience with confidence. You must also act on the intuitive directives that come about in response to applying this principle correctly.
You must acquire your goals in the same way an archer acquires the bullseye, with the proper footing or whatever you require to achieve the goal, and then fire the arrow when confidence is high. You must acquire the goal internally, and when confidence is high, act.

Because I know that my emotions generate my windfall, I pay close attention to them at all times. Besides, what I want most is to feel great, that’s why I want money in the first place. The anti-intellectual movement can be defined as anti-rationalism or a trend leading away from reliance on reason, logic, and fact to balance or temper emotions, morals, values or any belief system that deviates from whatever is considered fact-based evidence.
To understand what the definition of the anti-intellectual movement is, we must look at its various forms, face or appearance it takes in social life and why.
A Pew Research Center 2015 statistic shows that about 25% of Americans attend white evangelical churches and 42% are creationists. Anti-intellectualism is an attractive option for those who feel a need to hold on to a religious view or fervently held beliefs, with little or no supporting evidence.
The anti-intellectual movement is not a rejection of science, it is the rejection of the materialistic paradigm and a reduced belief in the intellect as the primary agent of importance in life and reality. The anti-intellectual movement is not inherently a rejection of the scientific paradigm derived from Einstein’s relativity and quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics assigns an origin to life as does religion and cults do, only in this case the meaning and origin of life and being is validated scientifically.

An example of the intellectual movement
The uneducated segment of the population that voted for former US President Trump have anti-intellectual tendencies.
Evangelists that will only read the Bible and books that tell them how to interpret the Bible tend to belong to the anti-intellectual movement. People who believe in every manner of exotic conspiracy theory, or who join cults are a segment of the anti-intellectual movement.
People do not call themselves anti-intellectual, but they do give less credence to the intellect. Things don’t always have to make sense for them to be ok with it. These people, however, are giving up on the principles of the Enlightenment that led to the industrial revolution and regressing to tribalism. America was founded on rational thought. The American experiment appears to be collapsing because of the anti-intellectual movement.
If the anti-intellectual movement were a fly, the holographic universe paradigm by Einstein’s friend, David Bohm is a fly swatter. The fact that we project our thoughts and beliefs into events causes people to see what they want to see. The new scientific paradigm of holographic reality, if understood, would decimate fake news and radical thought. As light dissolves a shadow, understanding vaporizes ignorance.
What is the cause of the anti-intellectual movement and the solution?
The true cause of the anti-intellectual movement is the bias of intellectuals. The solution is to have intellectuals take a better look at what Einstein’s special theory of relativity implies. We need to examine quantum mechanics and where the findings of quantum mechanics diverge from classic physics and household beliefs. In America and around the world people are no longer impressed by a scientific establishment that does not listen to its own leading physicists.
The bias that we see in politics is occurring among scientists, and this is the true cause of the anti-intellectual movement.
Anti-intellectualism is a political tool for radical terrorists in the Republican Party in America. It is their strategy for appealing to key voter segments.
Anti-intellectualism may be attractive who want to believe something, even with little, uncertain, or no supporting evidence.
Why did science overlook consciousness and the soul?
Science overlooked consciousness and the soul because early scientific instruments could not measure consciousness, or even the larger atomic particles we now know all about because of quantum physics. While utilizing the scientific method, physical evidence was compiled but not subjective evidence. The reason why subjective evidence was not compiled was because the scientific method was primarily a means to validate physical aspects of the universe with physical devices.
The ability of the scientific method to go beyond that which is physical did not occur until there were advances in scientific instruments in the beginning of the 19th century. This is the time when quantum physics discovered the subjective aspects of the universe. But by the time this discovery was made it was too late. Science as a whole had already formulated its paradigm of materialism which said that the universe consisted of physical elements alone.
Discoveries made by Einstein and a group of physicists have been ignored. The implications were so profound that science could not reverse its previous decision.
It was impossible to dismantle the materialistic paradigm because it had been accepted by the whole world. It quickly became a latticework of theories regarding every conceivable subject woven into the underlying principle of a materialistic substructure made out of solid bits of matter. Only later was it found out that solid bits of matter did not even exist.
The view of a particle universe was also hard to reject in the eyes of the public because it also seemed to make sense in light of normal human perception.
However, the truth came out that the universe was a holographic projection. The greatest physicist in the world discovered the truth. However, the scientific establishment could not assimilate the information. Nor could the general public accept the idea that the universe was basically a subjective projection of the five senses.

Einstein’s special theory of relativity and the findings of quantum mechanics, for example, support a new scientific paradigm — which grants deeper meaning and purpose to existence and being — explained here as new science or holographic reality. Those who believe this science and subscribe to the resulting paradigm, therefore, are not anti-intellectual.
QUANTUM PHYSICS MIND-BRAIN MODEL
You are a multi-dimensional consciousness. You existed before the physical universe was created. You helped to form it.
At deep inner levels you awaken to who you really are. Late at night in deep levels of sleep, you awaken to your true identity, the self that participated in the creation of the earth. This is the aspect of yourself that decided you should be born. This is your true identity.
Internal Science
Suppose reality was a tree. External Science studies the part of the tree above ground. Because it can’t see the roots, it does not believe they exist, and as a result, it does not study them. Internal Science, however, knows the roots exist and includes them in its study of reality.
Most people understand science as the study of physical reality with the instruments of the scientific method. However, physical reality is a mirage, a kind of optical illusion, a projection of consciousness.
To study reality we must study the actual reality, not the mirage. Internal Science is the study of the reality behind the illusion.

You are a portion of an infinite web of probable selves, or an infinite web of probable selves are an extension of you.
All that exists is consciousness. Consciousness creates all realities. Only consciousness can penetrate consciousness. The tools of the scientific method cannot. Do not look for long equations on a blackboard. Internal Science is completely different that conventional science. It doesn’t rely on equations and it does not require an extensive education to be a leading scientist.
International Philosophy
International Philosophy deals with any subject psychology covers, but it is based on Internal Science rather than physicalism. If you want to know how to be happy, find love, live longer, stay healthy, manifest success, etc., you need International Philosophy because it is based on real rather than mythical science.
Respect the opinions of others, but trust your own judgment.
People have the right to choose what they want to believe, and so you can accept a more accurate scientific worldview. According to International Philosophy, you are basically good and you can trust yourself and your integrity.
Realize that when we are dealing with two different views of reality — and because the one being challenged is supported by the mainstream civilization itself — it is going to take more than one article to address objections from skeptics or even explain all the differences.
Mainstream thinking is a cult. It is inaccurate and it takes your power away and creates dependency.
The entire established field of science is based on the great modern myth of physicalism. Instead, physical reality is a projection of your mind, and there are increasing numbers of top scientists, especially quantum physicists, who have managed to free themselves from collective hypnosis and are not afraid to say so.

Your thoughts can and do create matter. It is the rest of science, media and the world who do not want to listen to what they are saying.
However, major changes in scientific thinking are taking place. The big question is, will YOU look at the implications of quantum mechanics?

If consciousness creates reality, wouldn’t science know?
Scientists who believe in physicalism do not do not know what an electromagnetic field is, and since everything is an electromagnetic field, they don’t know what anything is.
If you ask a scientist what an electromagnetic field is, 99% will say “it is a fundamental entity, it’s not made of anything else, it just is what it is.” They leave that question to philosophers because they cannot answer it.
Science has largely refused to accept the existence of an inner reality. But science, like politics, is divided. Some scientists know more than others.

Why people see what they want to see, and create negative experiences
“Each person reads and experiences reality according to what they believe exists. If they hold a view of reality within themselves that is inherently limiting and/or negative, then this inner subjective reality and nothing else is projected outward into events and experiences so that everything conforms with their beliefs. They then cannot see anything outside of their own worldview. In effect, they become blind to any information that would free them from their inner and outer restricted reality.

Do you want science studies a mirage or science that studies the source of reality and then shows you how to create anything you want?
You can get lost trying to understand consciousness by reading scientific articles. I offer links to some excellent scientific studies as a courtesy to you only. I know in simple terms that the physical world is a projection we each create with our own consciousness. If four people enter a room, there are four rooms. I figured that out over four decades ago.
Consciousness is irreducible and is both individualized and part of an unbroken field. Quantum mechanics is the study of that field of energy. Your consciousness has very deep, eternal meaning that cannot be measured with a ruler, and so all scientific studies will miss that part of the picture.
All consciousness is of an equal, amazingly high grade; and just so you know, your personality and individuality will never be lost. Who you are will survive death. I am not a religious person, because I will add that you are also good, and most religions will say you are evil.
Ignorance is separation from truth, and it is the closest thing there is to evil. Our civilization has lost the secret for centuries and we therefore do not even know where we come from! That shows just how ignorant we are.
Our civilization has been reading reality backwards for thousands of years. You cannot understand reality by looking at the physical world because that world is a consciousness hologram that you are creating. If you follow most scientists, they will just get you more confused.
I provide hundreds of articles and over a dozen books in plain English, and you do not need to be a scientist to understand any of it. Use your heart and intuition. All knowledge is within you, and you are a portion of the Divine consciousness that forms everything. You are forever safe and loved, and this will never change, not for a billion years.

Who is William Eastwood?

The Socrates school was burned to the ground and Plato’s academy was destroyed. Nicholas Copernicus and Galileo Galilei were two scientists who printed books that later became banned.
Had Albert Einstein been successful defending David Bohm in 1949, our official scientific paradigm would likely have already changed. Socrates was put to death for charges identical to Eastwood’s, only Eastwood survived by applying his philosophy.

This picture was taken when he was 35 years old, shortly before he incorporated the Earth Network of Altruistic, Autonomous individuals, also known as, “The Altruistic Movement.”
Shortly afterwards, the government confiscated his research and arrested him on an unrelated charge of intent.
A manuscript they confiscated was an experiment in retrocausality to help humanity to avoid a dark future.
The government forbade him from speaking of this until October 14th, 2024, and that is why 2025 will be a year of disclosures and new publications.

How can people be wrong about what they believe?
In the same way anyone thinks they are right — cognitive dissonance. They see what they want to see. The more educated a person is, the more likely they are scripted in physicalism and thus see reality through that lens.
But physicalism is a myth.
Fake news, division and school shootings are a result of a false hypothesis within our sciences
One view — Internal Science (our term) also called the holographic theory of consciousness — is largely derived from Einstein’s friend, David Bohm, and the other is mainstream physicalism. The two conflict, and all contemporary sciences and contemporary mainstream psychology are based on physicalism.

As long as “the scientific authority” does not even consider Internal Science, there is a need for people to do so on their own. It is the only way we will solve world problems, advance ourselves personally and succeed as a civilization. Internal Science and International Philosophy represent the only viable unifying principle for humanity.

How science evolved materialism
The history of science illustrates why unenlightened scientists, schools and media are not telling you the truth.
To understand what happened, realize that modern science was created by the church of England in the 1500’s. Scientists set out to discover the nature of reality and meaning of life. They developed a system to ensure that they would not make the same mistake the church had made.
Science broke off from the church as a separate discipline to escape religious bias and fervor.
To prevent bias and emotionalism from twisting results, scientists developed the scientific method of ascertaining facts. The scientific method, however, was only able to ascertain physical things or physically-provable phenomena.
If the universe were a subjective manifestation, how would they know? The scientific method was useless to prove subjective phenomena!
Since scientists prided themselves on being objective, and because physical instruments prior to the advent of quantum physics could not validate subjective phenomena, facts collected around the central premise of a material universe composed of solid particles.
In this view, consciousness is believed to be a byproduct of the brain, and there is no soul. Science, however, did not prove there was no soul.
Quantum mechanics has since then proven many times over that materialism is incorrect. Both matter and consciousness are composed of electromagnetic energy.

What was settled upon
The mechanical view of reality that was settled upon became the basis of other fields of science.
Most fields of science have long ago accepted the mechanical picture, and they have been building their knowledge base on that assumption for a long time.
Consciousness must be understood
Now that science is advanced enough to study consciousness new facts have pointed to a new paradigm. The scientific establishment will slowly bend to the new paradigm or the public will go to sources such as EN for a new, more accurate science.
